Kevin Mohan

Chief Executive Officer
Kevin Mohan is the CEO and Chairman of Big Star Blockchain, driving advancements in next-generation data-center infrastructure, immersion-cooling technology, and Bitcoin firmware innovation. With nearly three decades as a founder and operator, he has built, scaled, and successfully exited companies across technology, commodity trading, and diversified services.

Previously, Mohan served as Chairman of a Nasdaq-listed company, transforming it from a post-pandemic restaurant operator into a global food-supply-chain powerhouse—growing annual revenue from $10M to more than $700M with strong profitability in its first full year under the new structure.

James Jewell

President
James Jewell is President of Big Star Blockchain and a seasoned executive with nearly three decades of experience in sales, marketing, and business development across software, staffing, energy, and blockchain infrastructure.

In 2016, Mr. Jewell founded Blue HG, initially focused on workforce solutions for the oil and gas sector. By 2017, Blue HG pivoted into blockchain infrastructure, where he played a critical role in developing Bitmain’s first large-scale cryptocurrency mining facility in Rockdale, Texas, and later helped deploy the first immersion Bitcoin mining site in West Texas.

Cecil Robles

Chief Revenue Officer
Cecil Robles serves as Chief Revenue Officer of Big Star Blockchain, where he leads revenue strategy, go-to-market execution, capital-facing messaging, and commercial partnerships.

Mr. Robles’ background is rooted in sales leadership, marketing strategy, and capital markets, with a track record of building and scaling revenue engines across complex, high-ticket offerings. Over the course of his career, he has been directly responsible for generating more than $200 million in revenue and growth and supporting over $150 million in capital transactions across private placements, strategic raises, and growth-stage financings.

Steve Spanos

Chief Financial Officer
Steve Spanos serves as Chief Financial Officer of Big Star Blockchain and brings extensive public-company and multinational financial leadership experience.

From 2015 to 2021, Mr. Spanos served as Chief Financial Officer of Boston Therapeutics, a publicly traded pharmaceutical company. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer of Orion Seafood International, Inc., a global marketer of frozen seafood products, and earlier served as Controller of Reef Point Systems, a provider of security solutions for converged wireless and wireline networks.
